Additional Funding Opportunities | Washington Research Foundation (WRF) Technology Commercialization | Researchers and entrepreneurs at Washington state institutions have the potential to translate discoveries into innovative products and services that improve health and advance technology. However, before attracting commercial investment, these technologies often need further development, evaluation, and risk reduction. WRF technology commercialization grants help bridge this gap by supporting commercially viable, translational research and accelerating technology development for public benefit. WRF uses a phased funding approach. Initial grants provide up to $100,000 in direct costs, with an additional 10% allowed for indirect costs. Investigators who meet project milestones may be invited to apply for additional funding, up to $1 million in direct costs, plus 10% for indirect costs. | Strongly encouraged for Year 3 Fellows |
